But running through your blood is a vile curse, one that will not only see the end of you but spell the end of your family and line. Ripped from the life you knew and with an uncertain future looming ahead, you must decide for yourself how strong you are and who truly steers your destiny. Save yourself and help change the fates of those you find yourself holding close to your heart as you fight to break a curse and uncover your fire.

- Five different love interests and five different stories to tell. Each with their own theme, personality, group, and journey.
- Define your personality with different skill sets and traits that shift depending on the route.
- A story where your route traits shift your love interest's personality. As well as choices that will open up an assortment of different paths.
Five routes that takes the reader through not only a different character but different antagonists, locations, themes, and stories. You learn different things about not only your companions but also yourself in each one with changing personality traits that have a direct effect on how the LI behaves towards you. There is no punishment! You can behave as you wish and do not have to worry about the LI wishing to break up with you, the only thing that changes is their disposition.

This story contains a great deal of dark themes and content that may be triggering to certain individuals. Areas will be flagged appropriately but there are times where routes will still lead to such content due to being an integral part of the game. I.e. On one interest's route you are presented with two choices but both hold physical abuse content. The list below details what content can be seen in each route.
Universal Themes: Sensitive topics such as depression and suicide. In each route, an abuser is present.
- Ruben's Route: Detailed physical abuse.
- Nour's Route: Physical abuse and experimentation.
- Ozara's Route: Emotional and mental abuse as well as gaslighting techniques.
- Zarik's Route: Grooming, physical abuse, and possession.
- Makaio's Route: Heavy focus on anxiety and emotional abuse.
In addition, the main character can be a victim of sexual abuse. In the story, it is possible for the reader to opt out of this theme and will be given a choice whether or not they wish to at the beginning of the story. Otherwise, this theme and conversations surrounding it will be featured in the story.
This story DOES NOT contain rape scenes and always stops at physical and verbal sexual harassment.
Again, this story is for mature audiences only. Please exercise caution and know your limits.

There are three different versions of this game to better fit an individual's playing style and what they may want.
Full Version
If you are planning to play the entire game and all the routes then this version will probably be best. This version will be $10 in total ($2 for each route. Each route is over 200k words and 2 CG's come with it.
Route Specific Version
If you only want certain characters (i.e. Ozara and Makaio) this is probably the better version as then you will not have to pay for routes you never wish to play. This version will be $2 for each route (totaling $10 for all routes. Each route is over 200k words and 2 CG's come with it. They will have their own pages for this. Please be careful and make sure to read to make sure you are buying and downloading what you want.
Patreon Version
This version is of course Patreon exclusive and can be had by visiting my patreon. You need to be AT LEAST Tier $5/Traveller to access the game. It comes with 2 CG's + 1 NSFW CG. 3 Additional Chapters. And ToA POV Collection.

I just finished Rubens route and I enjoy the story a lot! The writing is easy to follow and engaging. I love the way things are described, really brings life to the text.
Some nitpicks would be the amount of typos. A lot of dialogue starts with a lower case and 'him' is often used instead of 'his' which does jostle my concentration, but those are just minor issues.
I am looking forward to Zarik's route! I enjoy a freaky man.
I've just bought the full game and downloaded it, but when I run it in the browser (I'm using Chrome) it fails to load any imagery or graphics. Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Are you making sure to unzip it and then run it from the unzipped folder?

Bug: I only see one option on the page for, what I'm assuming is supposed to be a possible sex scene. Specifically: "(This will lead to a cuddle scene.)"

Bug in Nour's route, Version 3.03. I don't remember the chapter but I think it was Chapter 4. It was on both the full game and Nour's separate route.
I found a bug in Chapter Four of Nours Route, when you choose 'Then show me' the next page has no way for you to continue. I checked the other choices and they all worked fine it was just that one response it happens with.
A few pages later I found the missing continue icon.
Throne of Ashes Full Version 3.02: Found a pronoun bug. At the beginning if we chose to “Reject it“ Xeno Falicihi hand, it says Prince instead of Princess.

I play with the full game so i am not sure if this is a problem for just that, but some places there is no where i can press to continue (i can find it again if needed), once towards the end on nours route where there is both no words and no way to continue which is sad cause i want to continue to the epilogue. also i can only save to my disk and get an error when trying to save in the slots provided (i wish take a screenshot of that soonish)

side note: There’s a bug in Chapter 8.
*spoiler* If you chose to take the memory drug yourself (Phoenix) the next scene is you been pushed aside and Nour taking the drug anyway but them the next scene Phoenix is puking on the floor and doesn’t remember anything because of the drug.

I know Remnants of the past figured it out, but I'm no programmer. also, i bought nour's route and rubens route seperately and the only download link i have access to on my computer, even w/ email, is the ruben route? i'm a bit confused...pls help?

This page only has Ruben's route and the full game. Nour's route is separate from this page as there is a link that will take you to their individual game. So unless you also went to that page, you only own Ruben's route.

Hello, I have a question.
I've went and bought the full $10 game hoping to play both Ozara's and Makaio's route yet I do not see the latter's--Makaio's that is when I downloaded the full game/html. Am I missing something? Is that one not finished yet? I played it in the demo and saw her route there so I thought there would be some chapters available after purchasing the game.
A part of me thought that the routes were finished hence the paywall but I guess I kinda misread things ahaaa ;;;
I just wish to get confirmation on the information with this if possible ♥ I don't really mind supporting, just wondering is all since the demo piqued my interest with Makaio's route and I am excited to read more. ♥

Can someone be so kind and explain to me how the approval for the Clan works or what I'm supposed to do for Ruben's route? I just got to the first page of Chapter 10 and plan to start over immediately cause their approval still says cold 😭😭
Your choice in certain events seems to trigger the approval either going up or down. For the most part, you gain approval from doing things that respect their culture and just generally engaging with the other characters, like helping with Mauve’s crush or dueling Leik. You do NOT have to suck up to Ruben to get it (in fact, after playing both the mindful and fiery romance routes, it seems they actually respect you more if you give him shit lol). One of the main obstacles that I found was when Laurens and the gang attacks the town- you actually have to agree with Toz and run. If you try and stay and fight your approval will tank with them. Other than that I don’t have an exact list of variables. Godspeed bro.
I'll just add, the fight with Leik is a pretty key variable too. I couldn't for the life of me figure it out until I did the fight and it got the clans respect up. (Even if he kicks your butt, it's the fact you stood up to him and went through with it I believe)
Ruben's route was so good, I love your writing and would love to experience more of it in your other works ;)

I'm so grateful for this story. I love the plot, the dynamics, the complex themes, and the characters. But what I especially like is that the paths of all ROs are not connected to each other. They and their stories happen separately from each other! My deep respect and thanks to you for that. You just can't imagine how painful it is when you first complete one route, fall in love with a character and then on another route (with a different love interest), you meet the previous RO, interact with them, but just as a friend. And that love interest is suffering, and you can't help them in any way because now you're not that close with each other. Or, even worse, that love interest ends up with someone else entirely. It's so painful! That's why your approach in the form of separate stories is simply a godsend. Thank you!
P.S. Ruben is such a perfect man, oh my god. He's so passionate, loyal, caring, and a little bit mischievous, like a naughty boy. He's also the most passionate dominant top one could ever dream of. It will be very, very difficult for me to complete other routes after such a masterpiece, because the phoenix and the dragon are just too perfect for each other, ah

Sorry this is days late and you might have already reached out to the developer or asked for a refund, but I don't think this IF supports IOS devices.
If you haven't, you might reach out directly to the 13league's to confirm if this true. If it does not, you might try and play on another device it does support or seek a refund. But honestly, your device is probably only capable of playing the free online games anywhere but the apple app store, sadly. I hope that you will or have been able to resolve your issue and find games you can play.
Just read through Ruben's route the second time... I have nothing of consequence to add, only that I love him. (Also, the house worldbuilding is *perfect*)

It's perfectly reasonable to be concerned whether you'll have access to content you paid for or not!
You may wish to contact the developer directly about that concern. I don't think they check the comments section of itch.io very much (understandable as they have like 5/6 games). I haven't seen any official (publicly available) post from them addressing this, but many developers have made backup plans to be able to provide access to game/s for players who have previously paid or a way that everyone can access it freely. I also think it likely at this point in time (fingers crossed) that Throne of Ashes will survive the bans. Have you checked to see if you can download it again?

I encountered a bug in Ruben's route in chapter 5, during the confrontation with Laurens.

This happens right after Rubens intervenes. That said, I do love this game so far! I understand that fixing bugs for routes that have already been written may not be a priority, and I've accepted that. It didn't break the game or anything. I just wanted to mention it since I didn't see anything similar in the comments.
Any progress news on nour's route? 'cause i' ve been checking author(s?) tumblr for a few months but it just says it's 90% complete.
I don't have 13league's patreon and so I can't read the progress reports, but as of May 5th, chap 9 of Nour's route was released (for patreon members only, obviously). There will be 10 chapters total and- if I remember correctly- an epilogue? Or maybe chap 10 is the epilogue?
Anyway, yeah, even if you can't see everything on there, it can be worth checking patreon if you don't see anything on the writer's blog. Not always, but sometimes.

I played the Ruben route and enjoyed the story, but I felt like the choices didn’t change the outcome much. Kinda disappointed there’s only one ending, but I still had a good time reading it.
