New books from Patrick Kyle, Noel Freibert, and John Malta and collections including Universal Slime 1 + 2, Closed Caption Comics 9, and Weird 5 now in the shop.
We will be at the LA Art Book Fair Friday through Sunday with zines and comics from Apa Apa, Sal Si Puedes, Sacred Prism, Dave Ortega, Breakdown Press Liz Mayorga Amaya, Youth in Decline, Harry Diaz, Space Face, Inés Estrada, Mickey Zacchilli, kuš, John Pham, Suicidal Goldfish, Chingozine, and more. There will also be hundred of art books and zines from around the world with free admission, It’s definitely worth coming out to!
We will also have Yumi Sakugawa at our table on Saturday from 1pm-3pm to sign her zines and books!
Interesting new comics are always coming in. These are bits and pieces from Lala Albert’s Janus, Sarah Horrock’s Bruise, and Akino Kondoh's Nothing Whatsoever All Out in the Open.
We are now carrying a small selection of titles from OR Books. They’re an independent press who go to press quickly on current topics around technology, economics, and politics. They also have a selection of fiction with their most recent release being the collected stories of Ed Wood Jr. It’s a nice blend of the former imprints they helped either form or shape including Four Walls Eight Windows, Verso, The New Press, and Thunder’s Mouth.
Recent arrivals in the shop from Sam Alden and Mickey Zacchilli. Frontier #5, 1st RAV Collection, and Medicine comic which also features Patrick Kyle and Michael DeForge.
