A cosmopolis is not a polished global hub —
it is a lived condition.
A place where difference is ordinary.
Where strangers learn how to dwell together.
Where histories overlap, rather than replace one another.
At a time of hardened borders and policed identities,
Cosmopolises asks how shared worlds are still made
through literature, translation, history, and foodways
as coexistence: daily, unfinished, and profoundly human.
