Em (she/they) is a speculative fiction author from New England inspired by nature and music.Em writes for a wide range of audiences and is an Associate Member of the SFWA as of June 2024. Her work has appeared in Voyage YA by Uncharted, Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things, The First Line, All Worlds Wayfarer, and other literary journals and anthologies.

When she isn’t writing, Em enjoys knitting and a warm mug of tea. She has a mineral collection and enjoys baking for family. With a bachelor’s degree in geology from MHC, Em’s work incorporates much of the natural world from geomorphology to animals, plants, and seasonal senses.
