From love, incarceration, violence, politics and suicide to each episode stands alone with a new challenge, and a different man with life challenges, with the added caveat being one actor portraying all the characters.
“Sole kings" follows the lives of five entrepreneurial sneaker enthusiasts, as they hustle their way through the world of sneaker culture, while trying to define who they are and make a name for themselves in the city's competitive sneaker game. The “Sole kings" series offers endless storylines filled with an array of colorful characters from collectors, to resellers, to sneaker lovers, to OG's, and to hype beasts.
The Trade opens with the murder of a John who is killed on the anniversary of the death of a woman who was trafficked. We follow the lives of an award winning Photojournalist, a young prostitute, a women’s crisis counselor, two vice cops and a flamboyant pimp as their respective lives intersect and their destinies intertwine.
Michael got his start as an assistant director on films such as “Inside Man” and “Precious” as well as TV shows like “Broad City” and “Law & Order CI” before transitioning to writing and directing. Michael has written features, television pilots, and various digital series. Lionsgate distributed his debut, and his sophomore feature film Unfavorable ODDS premiered in theaters 1n 2022. Michael is a member of the Director’s Guild and Producer Guild of America.
