Play Date Cafe Challenge #62

Hello!!

Today I have a card to share with you using the colours of Poppy, Fuchsia, and Taupe :) This is the latest colour challenge going on at the Play Date Cafe....you can check it out HERE.

I just could not wait to play with my new Hero Arts stamp: CG245 Classic Fabric Design!!! I Versmark stamped it on Fuchsia paper and clear embossed the image. The SRM Sticker used for the sentiment is the perfect fit for inside the Martha Stewart doilies. I really wished I had some of the new crinkle ribbon that I am seeing around the blogs, I think it would of been sooooo much better then this thin ribbon I used :( Can anyone direct me to a good site to purchase some????

Here is the GORGEOUS colour story that Lisa at the Play Date Cafe has put together:

Have the best HAPPY NEW YEAR no matter what you are doing!!! I plan to stay in with the family and maybe do a little crafting :)

My road trip vacation to visit Kathy

Hubby and I set out on our road trip last Friday.....our goal was to visit with my SISTA Kathy. She lives about 12 hours away, and while there participate in a Triathlon.

Our drive down was pretty uneventful...hubby and I had time to talk....and talk and talk....I think he was really glad to arrive at our first hotel destination LOL! The next morning I discovered my bike was having some technical difficulties....so off we headed to the bike shop to get her fixed....delaying my visit with Kathy :(

We finally arrived at Kathy's late in the afternoon, she and her hubby were the most gracious and generous hosts for the next three days.

Here is a pic of Gordo and I just after the race... I am so proud of him, for he won third place in his age group...I had fun LOL!!

The following day Kathy, Gord and I enjoyed "lunching" and window shopping.

The next night the four of us went out for the famous blue crabs!! Oh my......we ate 21 of these!!!
Look how messy our table is hahahaha!!

We arrived home exhausted but renewed....vacation is always good for the soul, and to meet with your soul SISTA just makes it that much more special!! Speaking of special.....you MUST check out Kathy's blog....she is one TALENTED lady and she is also giving away the most AMAZINGLY generous blog anniversary prize!!!! Check it our HERE!!
Thanks for letting me share the most wonderful road trip vacation!
