It is with great pleasure than we can finally announce the actress who will be bringing our title character of ‘The Landlady’ to life.

Caroline Munro!

The only actress ever to be under contract to Hammer Films, where she starred in 'Dracula AD 1972’ and 'Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter’, Caroline also appeared in the James Bond film 'The Spy Who Loved Me’, Ray Harryhausen’s 'Golden Voyage Of Sinbad’, and as Stella Star in cult Italian space opera 'Starcrash’.

Tuesday was ‘Z-Day’ for 'The Landlady’ as Zoran and Zoe join the team.

Zoran Veljkovic will be our Director Of Photography. We are incredibly lucky to have secured Zoran, who has been a DoP since 1985 after training in Eastern Europe with leading European filmmakers.

Films he has shot have won prestigious awards at festivals in America, Italy, Spain, Japan, Holland and Yugoslavia. Continuously in demand we’ve managed to grab him just before he sets off on another shoot in India.

Zoe Grisdale has come on board to play the role of punk drummer Amelia 'Scab’ Farnsworth in the second tale of 'The Landlady’, 'Drum Solo’. With horror pedigree, appearing in the Butcher Brothers 'The Thompsons’ and the short 'The Initiation’, Zoe has also played the leads in 'Live East Die Young’, which screened at rain dance last year and 'In A Heartbeat’ opposite Danny Dyer.

But Zoe’s special skills for 'The Landlady’ come in her alter-ego as drummer for the band 'Zoetrope’.

Welcome to ‘The Landlady Blog’. This is where we will be posting news and articles relating to our forthcoming production.

Right now it’s Sunday afternoon and we’re busy planning the casting sessions as well as organising the many things that must be prepared for a shoot - props, costumes, crew, locations, food etc. There’s lots to do and the deadline is looming but that’s all part of the excitement.
