Been a crazy busy time the last few months. Forgot to put up this interview I did for Art Director’s Club. I enjoyed writing it more than I expected. Nice to take a second and organise your thoughts every now and then
Some character designs for an ill-fated music video project I worked on earlier this year with Feed Me Light, (an upcoming, and spectacularly talented London-based animation studio, check them out if you haven’t already) Hopefully we’ll be able to reuse some of the work we did in another guise soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
Some more designs I did for our latest Freeview advert. More here http://www.thelineanimation.com/freeviewsetyourselffree
My first page of ideas for this commercial I just directed together with Bjorn-Erik Aschim, and Sam Brown. Made at Electric Theatre Collective.

Scary to think these were done back in October 2014.
This is what I’ve been working on for the last year.
It was directed by myself, Sam Brown and Bjorn-Erik Aschim. And created together with a huge team of ludicrously talented artists here at Electric Theatre Collective.
As a relative newbie to the world of 3D and directing commercials, its been a learning experience like no other. Thanks so much to those of us who gave us the opportunity.
Head over to our site for a breakdown of the process and full list of credits.

A shot I animated for a couple of cool guys called Max Taylor and Tim McCourt, on their latest short, “Amaro and Walden’s Joyride”. Comp by Max Taylor. Full story about how they did it over on The Line website http://www.thelineanimation.com/amaroandwaldensjoyride/. Well done lads.
Some characters I designed for a pitch to Cartoon Network. Ended up not getting the job but had a lot of fun working on it
I did an illustration for a Shots Magazine profile of Electric Theatre Collective, the company that represents The Line.
