It was overcast today so I didn’t end up painting at the park instead I practiced some photography(Just got an A6000 with a 50mm f1.8 lens), will prob start another IG acc for that stuff cause I feel like this acc should just be the weekly paintings, not sure yet..

Another batch of 8x8 Gouache paintings in the Bay area, my 8x8 pad of watercolor paper is almost gone ;; going to use another size next I think.
Here’s a process/breakdown of how I did the Overwatch image a few weeks back, I haven’t used this style of finish since the school days I think! It’s a really fast and methodical way of getting idea to paper while still aiming to have a polished look of 2d animation.

Painted a fanart for Overwatch over the past couple of weeks, decided half way to finish it like an anime still frame instead of my usual painting style.
Drew the 6 characters I probably played the most.
I contemplated doing a full on fake post online to try to hype up a possible leak of an Overwatch anime(which would be sooo awesome), and even did a test run on 4chan, but soon realized it was a bigger ask to fool the hivemind of the internet.
