About me

Hello! My name is Fisch. You can use he/they pronouns for me, or li/ri in Esperanto, if you're cool. I'm an adult, and also gay. On the internet I am either a tanuki, a goodra, or a flygon, depending on my mood. In meatspace... who knows?
I'm a furry artist, allegedly. I have been since around 2014, but the shifting tides of several websites either dying or becoming hostile has left a lot of my work from before around 2018 to be very difficult to find, and I'm not a good enough data hoarder to have done anything about it myself. My furaffinity is probably the current best place to find as much of my art as possible, but even it is missing a fair bit, apologies.
I'm a pretty boring person; most of my interests revolve around drawing, or playing certain games. I'm also a huge hermit who doesn't get out much, so that's about all I have to talk about. Followers on my various social media sites can expect content about: drawing, cooking, rhythm games, trackmania, riichi mahjong, and unfunny jokes. That said, I do tend to gravitate toward one new activity or another every now and then, so you can't ever know exactly what to expect from me.
While I'm not all that practiced or skilled at storytelling, I do like coming up with characters and overthinking their setting and backstory. Sometimes I will talk about this, but I like to pretend I'll write something some day and avoid posting "spoilers". All my followers love my characters they haven't seen and know nothing about, and they make sure to let me know that by not talking about them in turn. When I do let them in on it though, they seem engaged, so that's nice.
It's not something that comes up a lot, but I'm both an atheist and straightedge. People tend to think these words describe someone who is desperate to judge or challenge you, but while I'm up for a discussion on either topic, they're simply the ways I live my life. Nonetheless, I consider them important parts of my identity, so I like to mention them just as one might mention their gender or sexuality.
I've been happily on Fedora Linux for a while, and my DE of choice is KDE Plasma. I'm tech literate in the same way your mom thinks you are tech literate because you know how to open the group policy editor from the run prompt and follow a tutorial.
I hope some day to use this website to take better control of my own gallery, as well as curate my other interests in a more organized way than my scatterbrained social media posts. Unfortunately, I'm an absolute beginner at web development, and a page like this is all I can muster right now (with help, too). Until then, above are some links to other places to find/contact me.
