Long Arm Quilting Service

In case you haven't heard, in addition to our retail store and extensive classeses and clubs, we also provide Edge-to-Edge long arm quilting services.

Here is a brief summary of our service:

We only provide edge-to-edge quilting and do not offer custom quilting or rental of our machine. We are primarily offering patterns from Ann Bright Designs but can purchase other compatible patterns (.QLI) upon request. You can go to Ann Bright's website (annebrightdesigns.com) and choose a pattern. We also have a notebook with additional patterns from some other designers that you can browse.

We can take quilts up to about 120 inches (either width or length). Our base price is $0.0275 per square inch for the quilt top.

Additional optional charges include: Batting (if not provided), Backing adjustments (piecing or trimming), trimming or squaring up the completed quilt, and California Sales tax as applicable.

Some other Important Information:

Top should have loose threads trimmed and be pressed. Backing should be pieced, trimmed so top and bottom sides are parallel, and pressed. Backing must be sufficient in size to include an additional 4” on all sides relative to the quilt top size. You can either bring your own batting or we can sell you the batting you need. Batting size must also be as large as the quilt size plus 4” around. Not following the above requirements may result in additional charges.

A $50.00 deposit is required when your quilt is dropped off.  There is a minimum charge of $50.00 for any quit.

If you are interested in having your quilt quilted by us, please follow the above guidelines and bring your quilt, backing, and optional batting to the store. We will work with you on thread color and your pattern choice as needed. We will also provide you a complete estimation of the service for your approval prior to accepting your quilt. 

We recommend you print this form and complete as much as you can prior to coming to the store. If not, we will provide one for you.
