Yeah still doing it. It still works a year and a half later in this awful contemporary world. Only issue I've had is that it won't display some more recent video files properly because of codec issues but oh well, it's not my only machine. I've even done banking in XP; I reckon that even if my accounts got hacked, there's no way any thieves could be more financially irresponsible than I could be on my own.

Good to know, the whole codec situation is unfortunate, but i presume that it can be bypassed through ffmpeg or the aforementioned other machines, as for banking, well, glad to know that there are banking software that dosen't require an android phone or stuff like it, i think.
Still, it's pretty cool (and admittingly, somewhat inspiring) that you're sticking with windows XP
i've decided to do something among the lines with windows 7 on the shared (for now, kinda plan to seize it and make it something of a portable computer for myself :grins:, well after setting up the not-so-portable [pic related] computer in mom's house) computer, that lasted until mom brought me a 16Gb ram stick that gave me confidence in making a win7 VM on the linux partition (Devuan, if you're curious), and in wiping the win7 partiton (pretty much due to space and the fact that the VM made the idea of a win7 partition redundant... in my mind, at least, mom kinda got annoyed at the idea of having to use it to be able to use microsoft word [and no, wine didn't work, not well at least  ] so...  ).
In either case, thanks for the windows articles and the links (among other things), i shall hold on to my win7 isos in my ventoy flashdrive (and the Classic7 ISOs, for when the win7 ISOs fail, and admittingly, those would be for the people who didn't jump to linux due to microsoft word or other similar software), long live classic windows and P E R I S H M I C R O S O F T *Clears throat* anyways, see ya

I saw the blog about space, interesting point of view while I can understand it I feel I'd like to see humanity go there but once better ourselves and done for the good of all, I don't want private corpos like Musk or Bezos to lay claim to the stars.

Sadly, it seems that's all we'll get for the time being. Musk (via spacex) is planning to send millions of satellites into orbit, and since starlink is very succesful, it's an idea that other companies and countries will surely imitate, filling the sky with junk... for what? Better internet? How could anyone be so naive?
Truth is that if they get away with it they'll own the sky before we can even reach it. I find no reason to be optimistic about any of this... I love the sky; to think they'll ruin it for everyone in my generation for profit, ads, and surveillance just fills me with despair. The dead don't have to deal with any of this. Thank you for reading my rant.

Hello, I'm the CRBA anon again. I really love the theming of your site. You might able to notice that the theming of CRBAchan is heavily inspired from cidoku.net (BTW, CRBA site was down for some time, but is back up. Additionally, I've moved to a proper domain: https://crba.tw).
I'm looking to add some kind of community experience that would make you be able to experience to the essence of CRBA. The infinite nostalgia, ethereal beauty, etc. I've been thinking on how to do this. I'm not sure exactly how to do this, but I thing I'm quite certain of is that it would need to be heavily themed with a very intricate design. I'm curious if you have any suggestions.

Hmm. I'm not sure my web design philosophy will be very useful to you. I came up with all of this very organically, with no real plan, and even the colors were accidental. As you can see, I keep it very simple: Solid (and few) colors, high contrast, only basic html 4 tags, minimal CSS. My site basically looks just like a default html page, only painted black and red.
I guess that if I have to give you some advice, it's that you shouldn't waste too much time on the design. Make something simple that's pleasing to look at, but spend most of your time actually putting stuff on your site. There are a lot of sites with incredible, intricate designs, but most of them are completely devoid of anything to see or read, so you only remember them as "that site that looks cool" (I even link to some). Sites like that tend to be very popular, but they have no retention, in my experience.
This is not to say you shouldn't have a pretty design; by all means, please do so. But you have a fansite, so your priority should be to fill your site with the stuffs of your passions -- don't let them be lost in the depths of your imageboard.
That's all I can tell you, really. I hope you can figure it out.

It's cool to meet someone who understands Toki Pona; I still haven't learned how to insult someone, hahaha, it seems like something fun in that language.
When I first saw this site, I thought it was sinister because of the colors and illustrations—a dark page with highly saturated red elements, without different shades of those colors. It reminds me of some NES games, and the illustrations of the site's characters remind me of macabre games like Mother 3, The Coffin of Andy and Leyley, and Agatha Knife.
By the way, regarding the copyright of the music in the "MIDIs" section, would it only be necessary to add the credits, or is there something else? The page where the details should be displayed doesn't seem to be working.

Hey estaba haciendo cosas de rutina, ya sabes, lavar los platos, hacerle súplex al refrigerador, doblar la ropa, cosas así, y mientras cavilaba sobre muchas cosas, recordé que tú le haces a eso de la dibujación, y eso me hizo preguntarme, ¿nunca has pensado en compartir tu proceso de dibujo por alguna plataforma como Twitch, Youtube o algo así?; quién sabe quizás puedas formar una bonita comunidad y todo, dependiendo del horario, quizás y hasta yo estar ahí haciendo bulla wwwww. No sé por qué me pregunté eso, pero siempre es interesante ver cómo la gente trabaja en su dibujancia. Por favor no digas que no sabes dibujar, porque sí sabes, y sí lo haces bien bonito, quizás no te guste en el nivel en el que estás, pero eso ya es un problema aparte wwwwww.
