Got a new piece of flash fiction, Wild Forests, published in The Flash Fiction Press.

My short story The Bridge just got published in The Flash Fiction Press.

My story The Return of Johnny Half-Finger was published in the May 2016 issue of Quantum Muse.

The story is a mix of science fiction/fantasy–I wanted to write a piece of science fiction, but it never felt quite right until I incorporated some fantasy elements. It seems my mind just works that way.

Got a little piece of flash fiction, A Simple Task, published in Silver Blade Magazine. It’s cowritten with my husband, Tommy Fransgaard.

My first piece of flash fiction, Aki the Immortal, was published in The Flash Fiction Press, on January 13, 2016.

My story Out of Feyvale got published in Abyss & Apex, issue 56!

The story is set in the same world as my story Wizards’ Code, where some darker aspects behind the use of magic were implied. I wanted to explore  those a little further.

Got a new story–The Pilgrim and the Rose–published in the March 2015 issue of Quantum Muse.

What I had in mind when I began working with the idea behind the story was to attempt to write a novella length story. Ironically, what I ended up with was my shortest story to date, almost flash length. I found a fairytale-like form suited the theme better.

My short story Wizards’ Code just got published in the December 2014 issue of Quantum Muse.

It’s a story about how tangled things can get when you’re trying to do everything right.

I’m not even sure how many drafts I’ve been through with this one, but I’m happy with the result, and happy to see it published.

I have just received word from Abyss & Apex that they’ll buy my short story “Out of Feyvale”. It won’t be published until the middle of 2015, though.

I have been writing fantasy short stories for a few years now, and I wanted a place where I could collect them, so that anybody who might want to read them can easily do so. And so I decided to create this blog, though I’m not usually a blogging kind of person.

So far 4 of my stories have been published: Armas’ House, The Silence of the Silver Bells, Miss Tripidipidi’s Secret Box and Grulym.
