Minnesota (Horror) Nice
Some people confuse crazy with passionate.
Let me be clear, I’m batshit passionate.
Hello, I’m A.M. Symes
Ever since I first heard a banshee scream, I’ve had a burning desire to trap terrifying tales on paper. It probably stems from my early exposure to Gremlin’s and Twilight Zone, which inevitably led me to writing spooky stories about creepy things. My work has infiltrated a variety of superb horror publications, which delights my dark soul.
My writing is skewed towards suspenseful, ghost-infused fiction with the malicious intent of giving people nightmares…or at least make them sleep with a nightlight on. When I’m not scribbling creepy stuff into notebooks, I dabble in editing and publishing with Dead Birds Publishing and occasionally volunteer as a writing contest judge.

AI statement: I have not and will never use AI in my writing. In fact, I judge anyone who does use it. It’s ethically and creatively wrong, and it takes away the magic of creation. Plus…you know…The Terminator and War Games and damn near all other SyFy warnings.

I take great delight in writing tales that make readers uncomfortable. My muse comes from ghosts and monsters and all things that go bump in the night.
