The company that owns the WordPress hosting service is selling the content of hosted sites so that it can be converted into grist for the machine learning mill, and although there is a checkbox that theoretically asks the machine learning companies to PRETTY PLEASE not scrape my site, I find myself without a lot of trust for their scruples (and plenty of disdain for the data theft business model in general).
