Our first lick of some delicious eye candy for the year!!!! This adorable and talented guy Rhys Kosakowski is a male dancer, versed in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop, following in the footsteps of his mother who is a ballerina too. Rhys has since started becoming one of the most esteemed young male dancers in the industry, largely due to his commitment to constantly push boundaries. He started dancing at 5 and by 12 landed the role of Billy Elliot in the Australian production. Following on from that production, he won an opportunity to train at the prestigious Houston Ballet, America's fourth largest ballet school, known for technical superiority. He has starred in my productions since from Cinderella to the Nutcracker, and has split his time with a modeling agency, getting in front of cameras...although, dancing will always come first and foremost. He is now currently with the Sydney Dance Company. I adore a dancer, dated two. My beloved late aunt always said she hoped I'd end up with a dancer, or at least a musician. I love that dancers are very sensual, express themselves, and most are not shy when it comes to their bodies. Obviously, Rhys isn't too shy about showing off his best assets and talent. I believe he may be single currently, from his ex-boyfriend, so I'm wondering if Rhys would come give me a performance. I've been following him for some time, and he seems like a very fun loving guy.

ANYA
Anya Body that is! Adore this queen. Anya is a multi-talented Latinx, Southern California Drag Artist, a huge bedazzler, photoshoper artist, emcee and hostess extraordinaire and an aspiring comedian. This bitch is downright funny as hell. Her trademark? Fabulous wig style and her rhinestoned eyes. Anya is also a talented chameleon, and has performed as so many characters so well, it's hard to keep track. If she ever got on to Drag Race, I suspect when it came to the Snatch Game is would be like her shooting fish in a barrel, and well-known celebrities too, not these "reality star types". She hosts a weekly show, House of Illusions in Palm Springs. If you're in the area give this queen your time and check her out. Let's not discuss the stunning wiggery and beat for the Gods face.

BEREAVED & DESOLATE
The one thing I have gotten flack with the last couple months, was the Israel War situation with Gaza and all their neighbors. Many here especially politicians have been weak to take a side. Even some Democrats have disappointed lately, one of which was Jasmine Crockett who, like many others doesn't support the government there, will yet... still vote for bills to send more defense money to them while also sending relief to the people of Gaza. Seems two faced to me in certain ways. Take a stance, so few have. Which is why I have a lot of respect for Mamdani for taking a firm stand on this even though he has no direct bearing on voting for bills in congress to fund the war. I have and will never support that country and they would all be better off if Netanyahu was taken out, however that would happen. I used to feel bad about this stance and would keep quiet on it, but now, lately some friends of mine who are Jewish feel the same. One even echoed the late Dr Israel Shahak, who was an Israeli professor of organic chemistry, a holocaust survivor and a civil rights advocate who said-" The Nazis made me afraid to be Jewish. And the Israelis make me ashamed to be Jewish." My mother's friend Garnet who was here for dinner at Christmas, agreed with the quote to and she too is Jewish, and will not support that country in the slightest. Then an interview I recently caught over the holidays with actor Mandy Patinkin and his wife, playwright, Kathryn Grody and their son, were interviewed by David Marchese's podcast, The Interview, addressed the policies of Israel's prime minister and reflected on what it means to be Jewish today. It was a very emotional and moving interview and I have watched it numerous times. I agree with him.

BIBLIOTHEQUE ScHOELCHER
About right now, doesn't that above picture look great? This was taken off the boat that took us to the island of Martinque back in the late summer/ early fall on our trip. I still have pictures from the trip that just got organized. We spent a good day on Martinque and in the heart of Fort-de-France. The one cool thing I enjoyed was the Scholecher Library. This wasn't your average collection of books.
I love a memorable architectural building and good history. A memorable place this was. With its colorful facade and eclectic mix of styles- Eiffel-inspired metalwork, Art Nouveau flourishes, and Egyptian- Byzantine elements- it never fails to draw the eye of passersby I would think. The place was built by Pierre-Henri Pieq in Paris in 1887, before it was shipped, yes, shipped piece by piece by boat from the French capital in 1893. One can visit with or without a guide. Step inside and look up to appreciate its grand dome before discovering over 10,000 books bequeathed by Victor Schoeleher, the French politician famed for his pivotal role in the abolition of slavery. The ornate ceiling, vivid stained-glass windows and row upon row of literary treasures create a unique atmosphere spanning past and present. Inside, it's an active library, where I found a couple books about the history of slavery in the Caribbean and it's eventual abolition. Just minutes away from there at what was the former courthouse is a statue of Victor Schoelecher. I think the library is a standout in style and severs a great community service there.

MOOD BOARD
Calmness is not just a state of mind; it is a skill that can transform your life. It enhances decision making, improves emotional intelligence, and boosts resilience. By cultivating calmness, you can navigate life with clarity and purpose, leading to better health, stronger relationships, and greater success in both personal and professional spheres. Of course, a good snowstorm and deep blankets of white would make for a nice calm too. And stay calm...it's Monday......
