Well our holiday card is out! This used to say happy new year and then, yknow…
I’m also kind of going through some intense personal loss, hence why this is a few wee– checks calendar, adjusts glasses– months late. Part of why we went quiet on this blog is uh, we auditioned for an OCT and got in? So this card is about that.
Anyone remember Artists At The Ready from deviantart back in like 2010? Well you can track our run in season 6 of it here if you’d like! Ngl this is the hardest we’ve worked on something in a while, we’re hoping we go pretty far if we can. Our audition + round 1 are available which combined is like over 60 pages so far
ALTBack in 2022 I started that like 100ocs challenge & then only posted them to twitter and like no where else so this year I'm picking it back up but I have to post the backlog and aaaaaa this is too much to think about, here's the first batch
Wave 2. The goal here at the time was trying to get some of the oldest ocs I have (17, 24, 28) in line with some of the newest (22, 30). Unsure what exactly the next wave would be, theme-wise? We'll see.
Wave 3-- since these ones were done this year they're in the new palette so it's a little more comfy than bright. I'm unsure how I feel about that personally. OC-spread-wise, uhh have a lot of oldies on this one (31, 37, 39, 41) like some of the oldest ocs I have in memory, then also some of the newest, even newer than last wave since it'd been a couple years (35, 43, 44, 45)
Taking a break this week bc ive been recovering from a surgery and fell behind a bit, hopefully i’ll pick back up tho!
I Finished princess peach showtime, did in fact want a clown sparkla but also i did like that the dashing thief levels were kind of trapeze-adjacent.
