Hello! I’m Alex.

I live in London. I work at the Financial Times as a Principal Engineer with a focus on site reliability for the FT.com website and mobile apps.

In the last decade or so I’ve worked at the BBC, Praekelt.org (now Reach) and the Government Digital Service.

My blog has posts going back to 2008 but I don’t write much there anymore.
