Morrowind was a religious experience for me. I've long been a fan of the Elder Scrolls, starting with Oblivion in high school. I revisited that game several times, and Skyrim obviously took up a great deal of time in undergrad as well. I'd always heard Morrowind was *the* Elder Scrolls experience, but never found the time to dive in. After being diagnosed with a rare but thankfully benign lung tumor, I spent a month recuperating at home after it was removed. What better time would there be to venture into Vvardenfell?
