I love seeing my trees used in all kinds of settings. They fit perfectly with @magos_buer ‘s group of strange Daemons, @bigbossredskullz ‘ Undead warband and @a_polanscak organic looking Necrons.   • ONE HOUR PAINTING CHALLENGE! I have been really busy with writing my master thesis lately, so it has been a while since the last time I share anything new. However, I submitted the project yesterday, so today it was time to get back to painting! I just finished painting this Forest Dweller in exactly 60 minutes. I love speed painting. But for some reason, I have never changed myself with a timer before. I will definitely try it again :) I filmed the entire process, so I will try to make a time-lapse of the painting!   • As many of you have pointed out, the #new40k art style is great! The sketches of doll-faced creepy machines made me think of these :) I’m very excited about the new aliens /monsters (3rd slide). I will definitely make something inspired by them at some point! Also, sorry for the lack of new projects and miniatures lately. The deadline for my masters thesis is next Monday, so I have little time for the hobby at the moment.

  • A few people have asked if the ‘Janus’ miniature (left), would be cast for sale. Sadly it will not, because it is a conversion based on a FW miniature and not an original sculpt. No matter how much I have changed the miniature from the original, I would still consider it re-casting. However, I have been working on an original version of Janus, which is the early sculpting stage on the right. I will not try to replicate the original, but will try to give it the approximately same size and bulk. The tire shoulder pads are from a toy car, inspired by the mutants in the RAGE video game. The tentacles and helmet are made of greenstuff. #nurgle #wilhelminiatures #inq28 #aos28 #paintingwarhammer

  • #wilhelminiatures logo and new Instagram name! I’m changing my Instagram name to @wilhelminiatures . This is the name I use on other platforms, and I think it’s better to be consistent. When I first made an Instagram account , I wasn’t sure if it would be a miniatures or personal account. It quickly became an account focusing on hobby, so the name should reflect that. I hope changing the name doesn’t affect anything! EDIT: I changed the name from @helgewilhelm , just to make that clear :)
